Boarding Options
Cage sizes available at Avian Suites for your use:
- Double Tiel Cage: Suitable for Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Budgies, Parrotlets, and birds up to small Conures. Measures 17" high x 20" deep x 40" wide. Can be divided into two 17" x 20" x 20" cages.
- Small Aluminum: Suitable for Cockatiels, Conures, Quakers, Caiques, Indian Ringnecks, Lories, Poicephalus species. Measures 32" high x 22" deep x 25" wide.
- Medium Aluminum: Suitable for Cockatiels up to African Greys, Amazons, Eclectus, and small Cockatoos. Measures 32" high x 25" deep x 33" wide.
- Petite King: Suitable for the same species as a medium acrylic. Meaures 67" high from the ground x 24" deep x 27" wide.
- Regular King: Suitable for Cockatiels, Conures, Quakers, Caiques, Indian Ringnecks, Lories, Poicephalus species, African Greys, small Amazons. Measures 32" high x 24" deep x 24" wide.
- Small King: Suitable for the same species as a large acrylic. Cage space measures 40" high x 20" deep x 34" wide.
- Medium King: Suitable for most Cockatoos, Blue and Gold Macaws, and Military Macaws. Measures 72" high x 26" deep x 38" wide.
- Large King: Suitable for Greenwing Macaws, Scarlet Macaws, and Hyacinth Macaws, or for birds that prefer larger cages. Measures 70" high x 29" deep x 46" wide.
- Bring Your Own: You are free to bring your own cage if you feel your bird(s) will be more comfortable in it, as long as it fits through our doors. Please contact us beforehand to be sure your cage fits.

Holiday Rates: Minimum charge for 1st guest will be at the regular rate charge. 25% deposit required to hold reservation. There is a 4 night minimum stay required on holidays.
Guest bird pick up and delivery are available for an additional fee; please contact us for details.
Additional Fees: Additional fees will be added for medication administration, special procedures, grooming, or hand feedings. Ask for a quote.
Notes:
- Pickup and delivery service available - Ask for a quote!
- Verification of an annual avian examination within 12 months of boarding is required.
- All reservations will require a credit card guarantee to confirm the reservation.
- There is a minimum $25 charge for birds dropped off or picked up outside of regularly scheduled office hours, subject to staff approval.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: 48 hours notice required to avoid 25% cancellation fee. For holidays, 7 day notice is required.
Scheduled Office Hours
Please notice that all drop offs and pick ups are by appointment only in order to maintain our high standards of sanitation.
Monday through Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Items You Need To Bring
- Proof of veterinary exam within the last twelve months
- Food (formula diets, dry food and perishable items)
- Toys
- Your bird needs to be in some type of carrier (that you can leave with us)
- Perches
Additional Items You Need To Bring for Baby / Hand-Fed Birds
- Syringes
- Hand feeding formula
- Container to mix formula
- Feeding schedule
- Intake and weight for the previous two weeks
Items You Might Want To Bring
- Whatever your bird finds comforting! We have had people bring in pictures and lamps that were always near the cage.
- You are welcome to bring your own cage if you feel that your bird would be happier in its own cage. If so, please let us know when you make reservations.
- Perches and/or rope perches
- A small radio/TV
- A list of your bird(s) favorite words, phrases and normal schedule
